FIRE RESTRAINING COLLAR

• Used when the space between the penetrating item and opening is too small to hold a fire barrier material.  In this case, wrap strip is wrapped around the item, such as plastic or insulated pipe, and the Restraining Collar is secured in place.  The collar directs the intumescent action of the wrap strip inward during a fire.
